XTREAM3U

M3U editor

Edit names, groups, and ordering. Everything stays in your browser — third-party resources are never modified without your action.

Edits stay in your browser. Nothing is published.

What the editor does

  • Rename channels and regroup them into bouquets that match how you browse — the two edits that transform unusable thousand-entry lists.
  • Reorder entries by moving them up or down, so favorites surface first.
  • Export a clean, valid M3U file for import anywhere. The export regenerates proper EXTINF records from your edits.

What the editor will never do

  • Modify third-party sources. Your edits apply to your local copy only — upstream files are untouched.
  • Publish or share anything. There is no account, no upload, no gallery. Export downloads to your device and the story ends there.
  • Fix dead streams. Editing metadata never repairs broken URLs; validate reachability separately with the IPTV test.

Limits to know

  • The editing grid shows the first 50 entries to stay responsive; curate in passes on very large lists, or trim groups first.
  • Only grid-visible rows are editable, and unshown entries export unchanged. For large files, split by group (filter in the viewer, edit per chunk), then concatenate the exports keeping a single header, and validate the result.
  • Stream URLs themselves are not rewritten here — this tool edits names, groups, and order. For URL-level work, edit the source text and re-validate.
  • Exports reflect your edits only; upstream source changes still require re-exporting from the fresh file and re-applying curation.

FAQ

Will editing break my playlist? No — the export regenerates well-formed records, and your source file is never touched. Validate the export with the M3U validator if you want proof.

Can I merge two playlists here? Not directly. Curate each list separately, then concatenate the exported files (keeping one header) in a text editor and validate the result.

Do edits survive source refreshes? No — refreshes replace the file. Keep notes on your grouping scheme so re-applying takes minutes instead of rediscovery.

What if my file has thousands of entries? Work chunk by chunk as described above. The editor optimizes for careful curation of focused lists, not bulk processing of giant dumps.

Method and limits

Methodology: purely local editing state in your browser — no uploads, no accounts, no persistence beyond the session. The visible grid pages the first 50 entries; exports cover the edited set.
